“There is something of the marvelous in all things of nature.” ~ Aristotle
“Indeed, because of their sensitivity to water and habitat quality, dragonflies are frequently used to assess environmental health… “If they disappear you’ve got something wrong with your habitat,” says Clausnitzer. “-BBC – Earth News
Because of increasing pollution and scarcity of freshwater around the world, many species of dragonflies and damselflies are threatened with extinction, so Kravica waterfalls is one of the few places in Europe that you can find these species, hovering around.
So immersed yourself in the majestic waterfalls and the natural ambience. When you are there enjoying, have a care for the nature, for surely it would be a pity if people who came after you, could not view the wondrous of nature as you did….
It would be “katastrofa! ” as the local says. 😉
Ps- Best times for dragonfly watching would be during Spring as during summer many people came from all over the world to enjoy these waterfalls and natural pools.
