“Carpe Diem… ” – Odes 1.11

PS-

  • Ivo Andric was a Bosnian novelist, poet and a short story writer who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1961. He was selected by Nobel Commitee over other notable writers such as JRR Tolkien, Robert Frost, John Steinbeck and E.M. Forster
  • Eko Selo translated means ecovillage. There are many ecovillages in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Not surprising given the bountiful and beautiful nature. The above is just one of many.
  • Address of the above Eko Selo : (Idbar B.B., 88404 Konjic, BiH. Tel: +387 61 337 522  ,+387 61 227 904.)

Wishing all a Happy Weekend! 💋

  1. We seem to be good at making our lives stressful. I try to ‘chill’ and sometimes it works. Walking does help 🙂 🙂 Thank you for your company.

  2. This “eko selo” looks beautiful! I love how some of the buildings are perched right on the edge of the river. I’d say this is a great place to get away from it all and relax!

  3. This writer sounds fascinating. I love the fresh ideas I enjoy on your blog. I hope the concept of the ecovillage keeps growing. The world needs this!

    • That area that I found is breathtakingly untouched. One can always hope all who passes have a care of leaving nature unspoilt so others who came after them can enjoy the same. We definitely need more Eco villages all around, but for all the right reasons. To preserve nature at its best.
